Vitamin E dry skin

Vitamin E skin
What is vitamin E good for? For people who fuss about their appearances, what many people do not know is that vitamin E is fat soluble. It is a good moisturizer for dry hair and skin. Other than moisturizing dry skin and hair, vitamin E has other benefits too. It contains antioxidant which protects the body from free radicals damage. E vitamin is found in supplement, food, and oil.

Vitamin E, which is available in natural and synthetic form, is sold in health care stores. Of these two forms, the natural form is the most effective.

Using vitamin E oil or eye cream helps smoothens the tiny wrinkles that often appear at the corner of the eyes (a sensitive spot).
How does applying cream to this sensitive spot works? By applying the oil or eye cream, it stabilizes and firms the skin’s cell membranes.
However, do take note that this product is not a ‘wonder’ cream. You have to use the product for some time before you can see the results. In some cases, it may take even months for results to show.

Although, creams that contain vitamin E are beneficial to skin care, do take note that they contain ingredients that cause break outs to the skin.
If your skin reacts negatively, or is sensitive to the product after applying, discontinue the use and find other products that are gentler and more suitable for your skin.

Benefits of vitamin E on skin

Applying vitamin E lotions or creams on the skin is more beneficial and effective than consuming vitamin E orally. The skin, through physical application, absorbs E vitamin more effectively. However, this does not mean that consuming vitamin E is not important at all. Oral vitamin E consumption is still important to maintain good health.

Vitamin E Skin Care Warnings

Avoid irritated or broken skin, or rashes on affected areas. Discontinue its use and consult a doctor if sensitive skin happens. Avoid eye contact. Do not use the product on animals or children.
